With the ambitions of entrepreneur Kees Koolen and his team, Twente claims a meaningful role in the global energy transition. The University of Twente is rapidly strengthening its knowledge position in this field by developing new concepts for energy storage and mobility together with Koolen Industries and other partners. Circular entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly relevant as a result of climate change. A leading example of circular entrepreneurship is The Gallery 2, an incubator for innovative ideas in a 100% circular building on the campus of the University of Twente.
